Manage sales

This guide will introduce you to the key features of sBizzl's sales management system and help you get started managing your sales process effectively.

Create and import customer records

You will need customer data to begin with and customers can be added to sBizzl in multiple ways. You can manually create or import them in bulk from other systems via Excel/CSV files. You can import records from Excel/CSV and map columns to the relevant sBizzl columns.

Setup your sales pipelines and workflow

Before you can start turning inquiries into deals, it's important to set up your sales pipeline. Think of your pipeline as a roadmap for your deals, showing the different stages (like "Estimation" or "Proposal") they progress through on their way to becoming closed-won sales. By configuring your pipeline first, you'll be ready to accurately track and manage your deals within sBizzl.

Optionally you can add pipeline automation on top of it as well, which will help you auto-populate tasks along the way as you progress through the sales pipeline.

Configure products and services

To completely use the sales module, consider setting up your products and services. Similar to adding customers, you can create products individually or import them in bulk using Excel or CSV files. This streamlines the sales process by allowing you to quickly add and manage your offerings within sBizzl.

PDF configuration for invoices, estimates, sales orders etc...

Before you start creating invoices and estimates in sBizzl, take a moment to customize your PDF configuration. This ensures your branding and contact information appear professionally on every document you generate. You can easily access these settings within sBizzl.

Optionally you can set up boilerplate configuration in invoices and estimates. The boilerplate configuration allows you to attach a PDF containing specific terms and conditions or custom notes. This PDF will be automatically appended to the end of your documents, providing extra clarity and professionalism for your customers.

Invoice/Estimate templates and work breakdown templates

While you can use the sales module without templates, creating them can significantly improve efficiency. Imagine pre-built structures for your invoices and estimates with common line items. This is the power of work breakdown templates in sBizzl. Using them, you can build customized invoice/estimate templates that save you time and ensure consistency in your sales documents.

Autogenerated code configuration for deals, invoices, estimates, sales orders and credit memos

sBizzl automatically assigns a unique code to each deal you create, making it easy to quickly identify and reference them. The beauty of sBizzl is that you can even customize this deal code format to perfectly match your needs.

You are now ready to add deals and take your sales to the next level

With everything configured, you're now equipped to create deals within sBizzl. Simply add new deals and watch them progress through the pipeline stages you defined earlier.

This guide has equipped you with the foundational knowledge to leverage sBizzl's powerful sales management features. By setting up your pipelines, automating tasks, managing products and services, and customizing your documents, you'll be well on your way to streamlining your sales process and achieving success.
